Short version: you can play without an account. Your game progress is stored only in your own browser. We advertise the Game with Google Ads, and — only if you agree in our cookie banner — we use Google cookies to measure those ads and, optionally, to personalise ads. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings.
1. Who we are
This website, kryvazel.com (the “Site”), and the browser game Abyssal Drift (the “Game”) are operated by Kryvazel (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of the personal data processed through the Site. Contact: [email protected].
2. Information we collect
2.1 No account required
You do not need to register, log in or give us your name, email address or any other contact details to use the Site or play the Game.
2.2 Game progress stored on your device
The Game saves your coins, upgrade levels, best depth, discovered species and sound setting in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. We also store your cookie choice there so we don't ask again on every page.
2.3 Technical data (server logs)
Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when your browser requests a page: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring page, browser type and operating system. These logs are used only to deliver the Site, keep it secure and diagnose errors, and are deleted after a limited period.
2.4 Advertising measurement (only with your consent)
We promote the Game with Google Ads. If you allow advertising measurement in our cookie banner, the Google tag (provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) is loaded and may collect:
- the pages you visit on the Site and the page that referred you;
- the ad click identifier if you arrived by clicking one of our ads;
- whether you started a dive in the Game (our “conversion” event);
- your IP address, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers.
We use this to find out which ads bring players to the Game and to avoid wasting our advertising budget. We only see aggregated reports in our Google Ads account; we cannot identify you from them.
If you also allow personalised advertising, Google may use your visit to show you ads for the Game on other websites and apps (remarketing) and to build audiences for our campaigns.
If you decline, the Google tag is not loaded and no advertising cookies are set. The Game works exactly the same either way.
2.5 When you contact us
If you email us (directly or through the contact form, which opens your own email app), we receive your email address, name if provided, and your message. We use them only to reply.
3. How Google uses data
Google processes data collected through its tag according to its own policies. For some purposes Google acts as an independent controller. You can manage ad personalisation for your Google account at My Ad Center, and opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
4. Google Fonts
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser connects to Google's servers to download them, which gives Google your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
5. Cookies and consent
We use Google's Consent Mode. Until you make a choice, all advertising and analytics storage is set to “denied”. Details of each cookie are in our Cookie Policy. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer of every page; withdrawing does not affect processing that took place before.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — advertising measurement and personalised advertising cookies.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — operating and securing the Site (server logs), answering your messages, and storing your game progress and cookie choice locally, which is strictly necessary for the service you request.
7. Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information for money. Data is shared only with service providers that help us run the Site (hosting, email) and, where you consent, with Google for advertising purposes as described above. Under some US state laws, sharing data for personalised advertising may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”; you can opt out by leaving “Personalised advertising” switched off in Cookie settings. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
8. International transfers
Google and our other providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Retention
- Server logs: a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
- Google Ads cookies: up to 90 days on our domain; see the Cookie Policy for details.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which we ask again.
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your request.
- Game progress: on your device until you delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, to opt out of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 11. Children
The Game is family-friendly and can be played without providing any personal information. Our advertising is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we keep the data we handle to a minimum.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. If we add new purposes that require consent, we will ask for it again.
