Cookie Policy

You can change your choice at any time: open Cookie settings.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site save information on your device. We use both, as described below.

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These items are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are required for the Site and Game to work as you expect.

2. Advertising measurement (only with consent)

Set by the Google tag for Google Ads when you allow “Advertising measurement”. They tell us whether a visit came from one of our ads and whether the visitor started a dive.

3. Personalised advertising (only with consent)

When you also allow “Personalised advertising”, Google may set or read cookies on its own domains to show you ads for the Game on other sites (remarketing) and measure them.

Google may change the names and lifetimes of its cookies; the list above reflects the tags we use at the date of this policy.

Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you choose, the signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to “denied”, and the Google tag is not loaded at all. It loads only after you allow advertising measurement.

Google Fonts

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. This connection shares your IP address with Google but does not set cookies.

How to change or delete

  • Use Cookie settings (also linked in the footer of every page). If you switch measurement off after allowing it, the page reloads without the Google tag.
  • Delete stored data in your browser: Chrome/Edge — Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites; Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data; Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Note that clearing site data also resets your Abyssal Drift progress.
